Repairs

You can generally make repairs to a roof if it is not near the life expectancy and the underlying membrane is in good shape. Repairs are also generally made if your insulation is appropriate and when the owner wants to keep the costs to a minimum. You may want a short-term solution if you are thinking of selling the building in the near future.

Re-Cover

Many people decide to re-cover a roof if the current roof is sound and has good insulation. If you only have one membrane on your commercial roof, you can re-cover it once without having to remove the existing roof. This is a less expensive alternative to a full replacement; it is less disruptive to your business and allows you to have a new extended warranty.

Full Replacement

If your roof has suffered extensive damage, it should probably not be re-covered. In addition, if it has been re-covered before, it needs a full replacement.
